Our name
Frist, while it is easy to see the bad in people, businesses and institutions, we prefer to see the “glass half-full rather than half empty” and to encourage progress through constructive dialogue. We want to promote kindness, trust, respect and positive discipline in organizations.
The term positive also relates to logical positivism. We are actually not positivist in all aspects of our lives because we do not believe that all statements that are not verifiable are meaningless. However, we stand firmly with the positivists with respect to social sciences and economics. Economic arguments are not mere opinions, but statements that are scientific and falsifiable. Competition policy and enforcement should be guided by logic and facts, rather than prejudice and ideology.
