  • You are currently completing an advanced university degree (Master’s degree) in Economics or related fields.
  • You have an interest in competition economics and a good knowledge of theoretical and/or empirical microeconomics and industrial organisation.
  • You can draft and communicate effectively in English. A good knowledge of other languages is also an asset for our team since we handle cases in many jurisdictions.
  • You can write simple codes in Stata and/or R that are self-explanatory and easy to follow.
  • You have a positive can-do attitude and you are willing to actively engage with your colleagues.

What you will do

As part of a “human scale” team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in our casework from day one. As an intern, you will be involved in a variety of tasks to make a real contribution to solving our clients’ challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting desk research on publicly available data and on recent literature;
  • Summarising and re-formatting publicly available data;
  • Drafting summaries of recent literature;
  • Translating documents and information sources;
  • Assisting with data preparation;
  • Carrying out data analysis;
  • Participating in internal and external development projects such as contributing to opinion papers, conferences and workshops.
