During his undergraduate studies, he wrote articles and conducted research on political economy issues. Prior to joining Positive Competition, Hugo completed an internship at a Portuguese company responsible for a public tender platform.

Hugo holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics, where he specialised in econometrics and competition economics.

Hugo enjoys relaxing on the beach, watching sunsets and travelling. Cycling and playing football are some of his favourite hobbies.
