Máté Fodor is an economist at Positive Competition. He is a skilled econometrician. He conducts data analysis and prepares reports for a variety of cases including mergers, abuses of dominant position, antitrust and cartel overcharge litigation.
Prior to joining Positive Competition in April 2019, he was an Assistant Professor of Econometrics and Game Theory at the International School of Economics in Almaty, Kazakhstan, a University of London affiliate institution. He was involved in both theoretical and empirical research, with a particular focus on human resource allocation and industrial organisation.
Máté holds a MSc. in Economics from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD in Economics from ECARES in Brussels. His publication profile is diverse with international peer-reviewed publications ranging from energy economics to political economy.
